Vintage 60s Women's Camel Cashmere Coat Double Breasted Custom Made Hong Kong This coat was made in the late 1960s in Hong Kong for an executive assistant at Western Electric (AT&T) in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She worked for the company for more than 50 years.
She never married and had no children. The fabric content is not labeled but it is the softest wool I have ever touched. It is either cashmere or even possibly a vicuna blend. Slash pockets at hips under false flap accents.
Custom details include tailored darts, bound buttonholes, hand-stitched finishes.
