The jars are a soft shade of orange with hand painted white koi fish on three sides of the jar, and one fish on the lid. They are both marked on the base (photo 7). Dimensions: 5 inches tall (from base to top of lid); 4 inches wide.
There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. The inside of the jars is very clean.
There are a few areas where the glazing was irregular. For instance, some of the glaze ended up on the inside of the lids and on the bottom of the jar (photos 5 and 7). One of the jars has some lighter spots around the top of the jar (photos 8-10). One of the lids has a tiny dark mark (photo 11). The bases of the jars also have residual adhesive leftover from the store label (photo 7).
This could be removed with warm soapy water - I leave any delicate cleaning to the new owner. This item is in the category "Collectibles\Cultures & Ethnicities\Asian\1900-Now\Chinese\Vases & Jars".
